| Hi Harold and Marie: I trust the Solo launch was a success. I saw one of your Solo 14s this summer. They look terrific! My guess is that my next Whitehall will be a Whitehall Spirit 17; but the girls may want a Solo 14 or, more likely, I may want a Solo 14 so the girls will leave my Tyee Spirit to me. After having my Tyee Spirit stored outside at Van Isle Marina for about a year, I’ve now got a place in Sidney with a garage. My truck sits in the driveway and my boat is stored safely inside. I also oiled the teak this summer and the boat looks terrific. Can’t tell you how much I’ve enjoyed the Tyee Sprit and I haven’t even gone anywhere in it. But I just love poking around Tsehum Harbour. I must tell you that my Tyee Spirit 14 is a “chick magnet”. The “chicks” I’m referring to are the good-looking seniors who come over to check out the boat (and its crew?) when I dock. I kid you not. Works better than a Bichon Frise. Brian |
