Lifeguards working the waters
of English Bay, Kits Beach and Vancouver have used the
Westcoast Lifeguard Model since 1998. We built the first
Westcoast Lifeguard boats to their specifications to
replace the aging fleet of wooden boats as
required. Aquatic Services Supervisor Cliff Lemire sent
us a great endorsement and these great shots of the boats
in action during the annual 2003 Iron Guard Competition.
I am very pleased with the Westcoast
Lifeguard Rowboats. We searched everywhere for a quality, well
crafted "working " row boat. Whitehall Rowing and
Sail’s boat met our expectation: lighter, stronger,
faster and minimal upkeep and repairs." Harold and
Marie and the crew at Whitehall were great to work with in
designing a boat to meet our specifications and are
always willing to hear and incorporate new suggestions to tweak
a great rowboat and make it even better.
