TYEE 14 ROWBOAT
The Tyee Spirit row boat has a fullness of beam which extends along the hull, with the transom being three inches broader than a Whitehall Spirit 14 row boat. The Tyee Spirit has an “untucked” transom rather than the “wineglass” shape of a Whitehall. The fuller hull shape adds buoyancy aft, making the row boat suitable for carrying a heavier load and, if desired, a small outboard. An outboard can be useful when traveling longer distances in a headwind, tidal condition or swift river.

A single rower or two rowers in tandem can enjoy the Tyee Spirit row boat. The full tracking keel makes distance rowing a pleasure. The forward storage locker enables gear such as small gas tanks, tackle boxes or lifejackets to be left aboard, and kept dry and secure. This is an attractive, practical classic row boat.
The Tyee Spirit 14 is available with an optional solid teak floor, or as a slide seat sculling boat or sailing row boat.
