This row boat was developed in response to a need for rowing lifeguard boats to patrol beaches and effect rescues when required. Several custom features are incorporated into our standard 11'6" rowing model.
To accommodate varying body sizes and reaches and to ensure maximum strength custom solid gunnels with dual oarlock pin positions are provided in the main rowing position.
For rowing efficiency, adjustable heavy duty foot braces will fit any lifeguard leg length. To ensure firm footing onboard the interior Gelcoat features a non-skid finish on the walking surfaces and buoyancy chamber tops.
 For landing on rough beaches, concrete or rock,this row boat features a full length, through bolted stainless steel oval strip that gives extra keel reinforcement. HDPE wear strips on the hull impact areas combine to reduce maintenance and insure longevity.
Removable aft passenger seat with extended section for victim work up is positioned slightly forward to ease boarding over transom. Transom eyes enable use of a bridle for towing swimmers. A transom bronze chain chock is provided for settings anchors and gear.
Attractive, durable and positive identification is afforded by the red Gelcoat horizontal strip cast integrally into the hull of this row boat.
