In the early days when Whitehall row boats were considered the best working boats on the harbour, the 17’ length was the favored size. This was the row boat that not only could be handled easily alone but could carry up to six people and cargo. This is the size for cruising and exploring or just getting out for a refreshing break.

The traditional row boat model features three rowing positions. It is available with optional teak floors providing a yacht like appearance. Floors feature built in footstops and are removable.

Load up some camping gear and get out to those quiet peaceful spots that are still quite plentiful. Forget about those crowded anchorages.

It is light enough to launch or land on the beach, and an ideal row boat for handling using a Beach Hauler boat slider track, an appropriate boat dolly or a small boat trailer.

The Whitehall Spirit 17 row boat is also available with an optional solid teak floor, or as a slide seat sculling boat or sailing row boat.
